My first post!

With the holiday season in front of me and Thanksgiving just behind me, I have been thinking a lot about gratitude. I am tremendously grateful for so many wonderful things and people in my life. What I’m most grateful for at this moment, however, is my mind. I created MindfulDocMom to have a space to examine my thoughts. I believe that becoming aware of my thoughts is the best way to make changes in my life and to live with more meaning and purpose. If we can manage our thoughts, we can manage our lives. The ability to think about our own thoughts is uniquely human, and for that I am truly grateful.
