Brain and Body Reboot Day 3 – Rewrite Your Story

Yesterday on Day 2, you wrote the title to the story of your life.

Today is your chance to re-write your story.

Now, you may need to spend a little more time looking at your thoughts from day 2.

A lot of stuff may have come up for you.

Most of us have lots of thoughts about ourselves and our life and it can be very uncomfortable and unpleasant when those thoughts start to surface.

Nothing has gone wrong here.

If you need more time, that’s okay.

When I first started the coaching process, I took three weeks to really think about and write my thoughts about myself and my life. I only spent about ten minutes each night writing my thoughts on this, but it really helped me see the story I had been telling myself for so long and now living.

For now, though, since we are moving quickly over one month, it’s time to do a little dreaming.

Today I want you to take a little time and imagine a new story about your life with a brand new title.

This is your chance to write the story you want to write about you.

This is a new hero journey that is about the you that you want to be.

There are no limits.

This story is based only on your desired possibility.

It is not based on anyone else’s opinion or your past or current abilities.

This is the fun part where you get to fantasize.

What do you want to achieve?

Is there a secret weight number you would love to reach?

Who do you want to be?

What do you want to create?

How do you want to think and feel about yourself and your life?

Remember, you are only dreaming now.

You don’t have to actually believe anything at this point.

When I did this work, here was my new title:

“I Used to be Constantly Stressed, but Now I’m Calm, Clear and Living the Life I Was Meant to Live”.

Another title I could have written is the following:

“I Used to be Addicted to Sugar, but Now I Don’t Even Desire Sweets”.

One of my favorite titles that I heard went from the old story called “I Can’t Lose Weight” to the new one titled “I Am an Example of What Is Possible”.

If you’re brave, please share the title to your new story.

See you tomorrow for Day #3.
